Hypnotherapy Hypnosis for Dementia – University of Liverpool

A recent study at The University of Liverpool has shown that people suffering from Dementia have benefited greatly by having hypnotherapy sessions. Many areas of their lives were improved including concentration, memory and social skills.

Hypnosis therapy for Dementia – University of Liverpool study

This is wonderful news as many people refuse to accept the power of the subconscious mind until it has been “studied” by scientists or traditional medical staff and, now that is has, maybe more people will open themselves up to the potential of their own minds.

The power of words can be incredibly effective in bringing about a positive and safe change in the way we think, feel and behave.

Well done to Dr. Simon Duff, and his colleagues, and to all of us hypnotherapists who have been using the power of words to help bring about positive changes in people but who haven't even got one millionth of the recognition for doing so.

Be happy,

Dave Sabat.
