….because a lot of the self-help world seems to consist of paying someone else to show you how put your faith in something or someone else rather than take responsibility for your own actions and, most importantly, showing you how to take charge of your thoughts, feelings and emotions. Me? I’m one of the few that encourages people to take responsibility for themselves and most are surprised at just how easily they can.
Ask. Believe. Receive. No thanks, I’d rather decide, plan and take action.
In the world of hypnotherapy I feel the same. There are only a few hypnotherapists that I would gladly bare my therapeutic soul to, many I wouldn’t even let look after my cat.
One guy, nothing to do with hypnosis, that I pay attention to is Geoff Thompson. Many years ago when my testosterone level was bigger & my stomach was smaller, Geoff chinned me and made my brain wobble. Not in anger but on one of his training days.
He talks a lot of sense.
